CN 4200 ROADM
DWR, OCM and Amplifiers for the CN 4200 RS FlexSelect Advanced Services Platform. Multi-degree Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) functionality extends the flexibility of the CN 4200 to the optical layer. Available for deployment on the CN 4200 RS platform, ROADM allows the same control over the optical path that network operators enjoy over individual services.

CN 2000® Storage and LAN Extension Platform
Small, user-friendly, and highly flexible storage and LAN extension platform for the evolving data center connectivity needs of today’s enterprises. The platform uses hardware compression and Dynamic Bandwidth Assignment to condense virtually all enterprise network traffic onto a single WAN that is optimized for the critical performance requirements of business continuance, disaster recovery and other vital applications.

CoreDirector® Multiservice Optical Switch
Multiservice, multi-protocol switching system that consolidates the functionality of an MSPP, DCS, Ethernet and OTN switch, into a single, high-capacity intelligent switching system. As part of Ciena’s FlexSelect Architecture, CoreDirector supports both TDM and Ethernet services, facilitating service provider migration to a converged next-generation network

CoreStream Agility® Optical Transport System
Uses a common platform that enables application-specific features to be deployed on an as-needed basis to meet the needs of core, regional, and metro networks at the right price. To support multiple applications, the flexible architecture leverages common elements, such as a common suite of optical transceivers, but also provides application-specific elements, such as two types of line amplifiers (one for Ultra Long-Haul (ULH) applications and one for regional applications). Additionally, CoreStream Agility offers a choice of integrated, Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (OADM) elements to deliver services to small, medium, and large intermediate nodes.
